Rue des Piques, on the site of the former Cantino, Maison Brudeau opened at the end of September. On offer are traditional Lorraine pâtés, quiches, pies and potées, to eat in or take away. An intimate, convivial bar opens onto the main room. Local partnerships have been forged with beers such as Bon Poison, Venus vin and Graoully. Ideal for lunch, afterwork or an aperitif, the bar closes at 8pm.
Monday 5pm to 8pm, Tuesday to Saturday 11am to 2:30pm and 5:30pm to 8pm

The Bistro du Lavoir has opened at 23 rue de Verdun in Châtel-Saint-Germain. The managers' aim is to revitalize the village they love. In a convivial space, complete with games (dice, taros, cards, darts), 26 seats and a terrace, you can enjoy a meal, a drink or the broadcast of sporting events. Breakfasts and lunches are based on seasonal, homemade products: homemade pâtés from Lorraine, omelettes, croque-monsieur, quiche, cookies, marbré and chocolate cake. Every lunchtime, the Bistro offers a €18.90 starter/main course/dessert menu, in addition to the à la carte menu. The place can be privatized on request.
Tuesday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday and Saturday 10:30am to 4pm and 6pm to midnight.

On October 24, the Leduc fishmonger's opened at 3 rue Saint-Henry in Metz, in place of Fish Metz. After setting up fishmongers in Amiens and Paris, Mr. Alispak was charmed by the city of Metz to open a new outlet. Specializing in whole fish, he intends to differentiate himself through the quality-price of his merchandise and the customer experience. Several ranges will be on offer to satisfy all budgets.
Open Tuesdays 9am to 12pm and 3pm to 7pm, and Sunday mornings.
