On June 28, 2025, Metz will be hosting the first major event for the general public dedicated to artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain and cryptocurrencies: METZ TECH 2042 will be held at the Saint-Symphorien stadium, Boulevard des Légendes (Tribune Sud), on Saturday June 28 from 2 pm to 7 pm, for a fun, educational and unique experience in the region.

METZ TECH 2042 is an event for the general public, open to beginners and experts alike. The aim is to offer an initiatory journey to the heart of blockchain and AI, through interactive workshops, project pitch sessions and conferences led by recognized experts, including Owen Simonin, aka Hasheur, France's number one Web3 popularization influencer. This new event is also an opportunity to highlight local initiatives and companies such as Meria, KryptoStone, Black Ticket, Blockchain AkademIA (etc.), Hoora, VenaLabs (etc.), which testify to the economic and technological dynamism of our beautiful region, and to help you discover the many possible applications of AI and blockchain in your everyday life.
Understanding the impact of AI and blockchain
The adoption of these new technologies is growing by the day. AI, for example, can now be found in our daily lives through our smartphones, tablets, voice assistants (etc.). METZ TECH 2042 is taking up these issues and offering a number of educational and fun workshops to explore and raise awareness of the uses of these technologies.

Organized by GEBIA² (Grand Est Blockchain Intelligence Artificielle Association) with the invaluable support of the Inspire Metz agency, the city of Metz and the Metz Eurometropole, METZ TECH 2042 aims to firmly anchor these forward-looking topics in the region. The event will focus on "tech encounters", with the declared ambition of positioning Metz as the French capital of blockchain and AI.
