Faced with today's energy challenges, it's essential to explore new solutions to optimize energy consumption and gain in autonomy. With this in mind, theMetz Eurometropole and Inspire Metz invite you to the first edition of the Matinales de l'Écologie Industrielle & Territoriale on the theme of Energy, to be held on Thursday March 13 from 8:30am to 11am.
What is Industrial and Territorial Ecology (ITE)?
EIT is one of the pillars of the circular economy. It aims to optimize the management of resources and flows in a given area, drawing inspiration from natural ecosystems. Through actions shared between industry, agriculture and the tertiary sector, this approach encourages local cooperation and the valorization of resources.
EIT actions involve the pooling of storage areas, tools, training or services, such as human resources. Exchanges of flows, or substitution synergies, are also enhanced: one company's unused waste and resources become another's raw materials (Source: Greenflex).
