Created by the merger of Ecole Centrale Paris and Supélec, CentraleSupélec is developing research activities of international scope in 17 laboratories, where students can prepare Masters and Doctoral theses. Its ambition is to become an international benchmark training institution, thanks in particular to the Photonics Chair, a unique structure in France located on the Metz campus.
In the face of environmental and societal challenges, CentraleSupélec is asserting its commitment by positioning its Metz campus, at the heart of Europe, on these issues, as a Transitions Workshop. Its flagship program, the Shift Year, is a gap year for M1 and M2 students from a variety of scientific and humanistic backgrounds.
