The zone
Home to the Metz-Thionville Regional Hospital Center and the Woman-Mother-Child Center, the Pôle Santé-Innovation de Mercy will be extended in 2020, offering an additional 11 hectares for companies, tertiary activities, small-scale production and crafts...
Located to the east of Metz, the zone is unique in that it straddles the communes of Ars-Laquenexy and Peltre. The site is strategically located close to the A4 freeway and the RD 955, and is served by the METTIS public transport system. Developed in close proximity to the hospital estate, the economic zone's vocation is mainly tertiary. The Village de Mercy, a local commercial hub, is home to independent retailers, restaurants and hotels. The first building constructed for Siemens was inaugurated in September 2013. The attractiveness of the site has enabled the rapid commercialization of almost 40 ha, with plans to extend the zone in the short term in the tertiary and craft sectors.
