Welcoming new residents

The Metz Eurometropole and its Attractiveness Agency are committed to integrating new arrivals by introducing them to their new home, making it easier for them to settle in, and developing a sense of pride and belonging to the region. With a constant positive demographic trend and opportunities to win over new residents, a welcome policy has been put in place, with tools, events and a one-stop shop to facilitate this key stage for the community and metropolitan municipalities.

Inspire Metz

Getting to know the area better and fitting in

The mayors of the Metz Eurometropole are keen to promote their communities and welcome new arrivals at special, convivial events that provide an opportunity for exchanges between elected municipal officials and new residents. Agence Inspire Metz provides technical information and introductions at these ceremonies.

In addition to physical visits to town halls, the agency can also offer year-round events to promote the region's heritage and economy.

Guided tours and ideas for outings are organized by the Inspire Metz Tourist Office and offered to all interested parties.

Digital promotional media complete the package: Instants Talents videos, newsletter, social network publications and community videos. Competitions also keep the curiosity of new residents and visitors alive.

Greeters, the Inspirés of Metz Eurometropole, are passionate about their region, and share their discoveries, tips and daily lives with locals and visitors alike.

To make settling in and living in the Eurometropolis easier

Inspire Metz and its Tourist Office are a one-stop shop for new residents of the Metz Eurometropole.

Assistance in finding housing, jobs, schools and mobility, as well as practical day-to-day advice, are provided by the Agency and a dedicated project manager.
