A range of new brands has emerged in recent years, such as Bialetti, Aux merveilleux, Lush, la Fée Maraboutée, The Kooples, or Father and Sons, Calzedonia, Sostrene Grene, Flying Tiger Copenhagen … thus complementing an attractive  offer and luxury brands like Montblanc, Swarovski and Nespresso.
 
The « Galeries Lafayette » of Metz stands for the 9th largest store in France. The store, with le Printemps and la Fnac, is one of the biggest of the city center.  
 
Independent multi-brand sellers propose a complementary offer, but sometimes atypical like in rue Taison or  rue des Jardins : fashion and jewellery designers, independent bookstores for kids, games, decoration, etc
Muse

110 brands, 89 stores, 19 food outlets, 37 000 m2 of retail space and 7 million expected visitors...
The Muse shopping mall, with its futuristic architecture and its high number of quality stores, opened in November 2017.
 
The driving forces of the mall, sometimes even new in the area,  are :
Primark, Habitat, Burger King , Superdry, Guess, Colombus café , Carrefour Market,  Alice Délice, Armani Exchange, KWay.
 
Uniqlo, the famous japanese fabric brand, offers a large range of collections for men, women and even sport outfits on 925 m². 
Primark, the much awaited brand in Lorraine, provides also clothes on a 5 800 marea.  
 
Waves

Inaugurated in October 30, 2014, « Waves Actisud » is a shopping mall with an innovative architecture designed by Gianni Ranaulo.  

It is composed of a 43 000 m2 retail space on
17 hectares and of some 3 000 parking places on 19 000 m2 of green spaces for a 100 millions euros investment.  

In 1 year, the mall has attracted 4 million customers.  
New services dedicated to visitors and families:   shuttles to go from one end of the mall to the other,  pony rides, seasonal recreational activities and a touristic train to make kids happy. Around the artificial lake, there are 7 restaurants.

Today, 35 brands are open, including Zodio, Cultura, Maisons du Monde, La Grande Récré, Swarovski, Vertbaudet, Réauté Chocolat, Truffaut, Hemslay, Carré Blanc, Apple Hemslay ou encore Bose.
Boulevard de Trèves

With 45 000 cars a day, the Boulevard de Trèves is located on a really strategic roadway...

In addition to being a trade point, it is also a "mix urban concept" which spreads over a 35 000 m2 surface area, shaping a new neighborhood in the Metz urban area. 

Located by the heart of Metz, visitors can access to it easily and benefit from a drop off area for an easy shopping with 800 free parking spaces dedicated to customers. Many commercial activities over 7 000 m2 : a gym, an Italian restaurant, a brewery, an insurance company, a pharmacy, florists, Roche Bobois, …
the Metzanine commercial area

The shopping area Metzanine in Metz-Technopôle offers 18 500 m2 of retail space and 800 parking spaces in the eastern part of Metz, in front of the hypermarket Cora and Leroy Merlin.

The main artery is organized around 2 big brands: Boulanger and Action.

These large retail areas are complemented by stores and restaurants near the parking: 
Courte Paille, El Rancho, Pizza Del Arte, KFC…

A protected walk connects medium outlets, restaurants and stores.
The Leader Price and Chaussea brands are part of the driving force of the area.
Marly
Belle Fontaine

Located in the South of Metz, by the East bypass connecting the A31 motorway to the A4, Marly Belle Fontaine spreads over 46 ha  with an expansion of its  perimeter specifically dedicated to retail (6 ha of expansion) and craft activities (10 ha of expansion).

The development of the area enabled the establishment of new brands such as Magasin vert, Leclerc Drive and the Marie Blachère bakery.
 
First Plaza

Facing Metzanine, First Plaza includes different brands on its 2 800 m2 retail space : Vima, the Bistro Novo brasserie, a Chinese restaurant, Cuisines Kocher, Crédit Mutuel and Subway. The gym Basic Fit has been added to the offer with 1 230 m2 on the ground floor.
